The service center or at the place of purchase of a diesel generator will always be offered a number of main service services:
maintenance of the technical part of generators of different manufacturers;

Diagnosis of installations.
Diesel generators up to 30 kW requires more attention to maintenance than installations with a capacity of more than 30 kW, since they are equipped with a more powerful and reliable device.
Inspection
Before starting the repair, it is necessary to visually determine the possible breakdown. This can be a fuel or oil leak, ruptures in the tubes, cracks. All connections, fasteners are checked, weakened contacts are replaced. After a visual inspection, it is necessary to start (warm up) the generator engine, because some types of repair work are carried out with a heated engine.
Oil and filters
The following should be replaced by all types of oil and filters (fuel, air, oil). Here is such a small inspection of the entire installation must be done every 200-250 hours of operation.
After replacing oil and filters, as well as after replacing all visible problems, it is necessary to start a diesel generator and adjust the oil level, replace the fuel and air filters. Check the belt tension level, add antifreeze to the tank, check the level of electrolyte in the tank. Do not forget to view the shelf life of batteries, because with an overdue work life, the generator will not be able to start.
After all the above manipulations, a trial launch and testing of the entire generator installation is carried out.
If mobile power plants can be delivered independently to the service center, then a team of specialists must be invited to large stationary installations, which is also included in the list of services provided by the Center for Service and Repair.
Another positive feature of mobile generators is high quality and ease of assembly of the structure. Small dimensions and mobility of generators are very reliable in operation and maintenance. And in comparison with gasoline generators, mobile diesel installations are beneficial for use, since the costs of working materials and maintenance are much lower.
If the slightest non -commissioned, the repair work should be carried out by a qualified employee, and periodic maintenance of diesel power plants of large capacities – a specially trained person.
