Server – the Holy of Holy of Holy of All processes related to the receipt, processing and storage of information, the heart of a difficult computer organism that has become the most important for any serious company, any industrial enterprise or solid commercial structure in recent decades. It is worthwhile to happen here – and the work of the whole company will zeal, except for those, of course, departments that will be busy calculating losses. A modern person, a child of the information age, is used to eagerly and continuously drink from sources of information, and these sources should be inexhaustible and constantly available.
Today this is a condition for survival No. 1, and this means that ensuring the uninterrupted work of the North is a priority task.
The server is Kaprizen no more, but no less than any technique whose work is based on electronics – it is vital for the optimal parameters of temperature, humidity and purity of air. Any electronic equipment prefers operation at a humidity of about 55%.
It is worth the humidity of the air below 30% – and on the “insides” of the server, on boards and microcircuits, the accumulation of the charge of static electricity will begin – this charge will be quite enough for the emergence of breakdown, for example, between the legs of the microcircuits located in the neighborhood.
Moreover, a charge of static electricity will accumulate on a person, risking, when a humidity is reduced below 20%, reach several thousand volts! It must be remembered that with sharp heating of air, its humidity inevitably drops, so the temperature regime in server. And finally, dust – the sizes of particles that we call the generalized name “dust” can vary from shares to hundreds of microns.
We have to admit that on the scale of the electronic “fillings” several such dust dusts no longer look at all dismissively small values. However, the problem should not be considered a problem if there is an adequate solution: a competently organized ventilation system will ensure the absence of overheated stagnant zones and uneven distribution of cold air, will not allow the accumulation of dust particles and reduction of humidity.
Obviously, the correct air circulation is the key to comfort and safety in server, and, creating “human” conditions for equipment, you will forever forget about claims to software companies.
