It seems amazing, but those who think that the elevator is a product of the 20th or even the 19th century is deeply mistaken. Its use began, not even in the era of the French king Louis XV, as is now considered to be, but much earlier. Judging by the written sources that have reached us, we can talk about the 3rd century BC.
But, history is history, and to present a modern multi -storey metropolis without devices that constantly transport people or goods between different levels of the same building is simply impossible. And from the moment the elevators began to use the problem of their safety, it does not cease to be relevant for a single minute, since the minimum oversight can lead to monstrous consequences. In modern conditions, its effective resolution, without a doubt, is largely facilitated by the certification of elevators, which may be mandatory or voluntary. With mandatory certification (independently domestic or imported production) according to the parameters that guarantee people’s safety, directive 95/16/EC, GOST 22011-95 and other regulatory documents are applied. Without the presence of this certificate, which is an official confirmation of the quality of the product, the sale and installation of elevators is strictly prohibited.
Without a doubt, it contributes to the safety of devices transporting people and goods between floors of people, *expertise of elevators *, to which exclusively specialized organizations are allowed that have received an appropriate license from Rostekhnadzor of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the examination is subject to:
design documentation related to the construction, reconstruction, expansion, conservation and liquidation, technical re -equipment, elevator;
technical devices that are used in the elevator;
An elevator of the elevator and a number of other documents related to its operation.
Even before they are put into operation, *Technical examination of elevators is mandatory *. Subsequently, it should be carried out at least once during 12 calendar months. In the case of the elevator of the standard service life (25 years), it is subjected to diagnostics, the purpose of which is to determine the possibility of further operation of the device. With its positive results achieved due to the modernization of the mechanism, it is possible to establish a new normative period of further operation of the elevator (up to 25 years).
