Magnesite slab

Magnesitic stove is a relatively new decoration material, which, thanks to its excellent qualities, perfectly compete with such leaders of the building materials market as fiberboard, chipboard and drywall. Magnesitovite plate is designed in accordance with the technological requirements of quick construction. Plates are carried out anhydrous method, therefore they have excellent waterproof qualities and are not subject to mold and fungi.

The fire resistance of this material is so high that in simple conditions its fire is simply impossible. The frost resistance of this material is also very high, as the data on the ongoing experiments for multiple defrosting confirmed – freezing this material. Thanks to these properties, as well as a high level of anticorosion up to – 40 degrees, the area of use of a magnesite slab is very wide: from the freezer to the chimney or for example the fireplace.

The impact of low and high temperatures, as well as for a long time of contact with water, cannot become the reason for its deformation, so that the magnesite panel is one of the most suitable building materials for the facilities in the premises of saunas, baths and bathrooms. Magnesitovite plate is also used in the installation of suspension type ceilings, roof parts, basement, for the production of formwork and ceilings.

On both sides, the surface of the “magnesite” plate is a layer of fiberglass, it includes cores, carnallitis and magnesium oxide. This combination gives strength to the material at a low density: one cm³ is from 0, 8 to 1, 30 grams. Easy and anti -guide qualities, lack of requirements for observing any humidity and temperature conditions make storage and transportation of this material as comfortable as possible.

Magnesitic plate serves as an excellent facing building material for facades of houses, is also used as a heater, and noise-insulator for the manufacture of partitions. The thermal insulation level of this material is 0, 217 watts per m². The plate with a thickness of 6 millimeters can absorb noise with a volume of 29 decibels.

During the construction and conduct of finishing work, the slabs can be sawed and glued, so they can be made with standard dimensions: 1220 by 2440 millimeters. Only the size of the thickness of the plates varies. Manufacturers stopped at the production of the most popular sizes – 9, 10, 12, 15, 18 and 20 millimeters.

Magnesite plate is easy to install and subsequently operating it: this material can be covered with paint or varnish, drilled, sheathed with wood, glued with wallpaper, laminated with vinyl coating, or – with glass wallpaper.

In terms of its properties, a magnesite plate is not inferior to similar materials in any way, and the convenience of use is an undoubted advantage of this building material.
