Planning of a residential building: Basic rules

by 360roomsnews

The layout of a residential building largely determines the comfort of its owners, which is why the design should be taken with all the seriousness to this stage of design.

Before starting the layout of the house, it is worth first to decide on its useful area and the number of floors. So today they build houses, the total area of which ranges from 80 to 1500 square meters. At the same time, there is also a fate that the best option for building a house of large area is the construction of a house with two or more floors or the attic floor. In this case, you can avoid strong “scattering” of the premises and reduce the length of the foundation.

Thus, when planning two -story houses on their first floors, as a rule, public premises are placed, the second floor is diverted under the bedrooms.

Usually the placement of rooms and rooms in the house dictates the location of the common room. As a rule, in this room it is worth providing large windows that allow you to let in a maximum of daylight in it. In addition, the location of the common room should include unhindered and rapid movement from it to the recreation area: another room or a personal plot.

The kitchen should be placed in such a way as to ensure good natural light in it. It is often appropriate to plan a separate exit from the kitchen.

With a sufficiently limited area of the house, as a rule, they resort to a decrease in the size of the bedrooms, while the number of them should provide not only the premises for the rest of the owners of the house, but also at least one bedroom to accommodate guests.

One of the typical elements of a country house is the veranda. It is usually placed closer to the entrance. In addition, the veranda can play the role of the hallway. In order for this room to be fairly bright, the verandas are oriented to the southwest or south.

In houses having more than one floor of the stairs, it is worth placing in the veranda or hall, thereby saving the beneficial space of living rooms.
