Ceramic red brick is the most traditional type of building ceramic products. This environmentally friendly, durable and convenient material has several subspecies that differ in size and production process.

Ceramic red brick in the general sense is a classic material. It is made from various varieties of clay using various additives, which allow you to regulate the properties of a ceramic product.

By the presence of voids, a hollow and full -bodied brick is distinguished; in size – a single, one and a half, thickened, “Euro”; In terms of heat and technical properties, effective and ordinary are distinguished; According to the production method, a brick is highlighted in semi -dry pressing and plastic molding (found more often than another).

The areas of application also create differences, for example, for the construction of enclosing and internal supporting structures, private bricks are designed; for decorative decoration of the facade – facing (front); refractory or stove bricks – special materials intended for the construction of chimneys, fireplaces and furnaces.

Ceramic red brick has a standard production technology that has been worked out many centuries ago, which consists of several stages:

– At the first stage, clay grows and the addition of water and the necessary impurities to it. Then the resulting mixture is formed and the workpiece, which is cut into bricks;

– At the second stage, the resulting bars are dryed so that excess moisture leaves the mixture;

– At the third stage, up to about 10% of the moisture, bricks are burned in the furnace for 6-8 hours at a temperature of about 600 ° C.

Thus, a material is obtained that is famous for its durability, strength, resistance to high and low temperatures, low moisture absorption and density.

Walls from such a “breathing” brick are able to create comfort and comfort in the room, letting the air through themselves. But at the same time, in the frost or heat inside the building, the temperature will remain still comfortable, and adverse climatic conditions will not harm either the appearance of the brick or its properties. Thanks to the high technical characteristics of the material, the brick house will delight its owners with a presentable appearance and the lack of the need for repair for many decades.

Red ceramic brick is actively used in the construction of wet rooms. Its resistance to corrosion and decay processes give an undeniable advantage over other building materials. Until now, modern building materials are not able to squeeze traditional brick.

Thanks to the use of exclusively natural raw materials, ceramic brick is an environmentally friendly material, does not distinguish harmful substances and is safe for people and animal life and health.
