Clinker brick belongs to one of the most popular materials of our time. In the production of this variety of brick, clay is used as raw materials. According to a special production technology, forms are subjected to heat treatment in the furnaces intended for this (1200-13000s). The impact on the workpiece of high temperature allows not only to give special strength to the clinker brick, but also the desired shade. The clinker brick is endowed with high density, and a small absorption of moisture-3-4%. Due to this, this brick is resistant to low temperatures.
This is one of the few building materials that can maintain its properties and the appearance of approximately 200 defrosting and frost cycles, and these are 4 times more than ordinary brick properties. The most obvious spheres of the use of clinker brick: in the form of facing tiles, like facade material, or brick for sidewalks.
One of the first, landscape designers paid attention to the clinker brick. They used this material to arrange garden paths, or open spaces and recreation areas.
Over time, clinker paving stones were appreciated by dignity, and a new road surface appeared on many squares of cities. Apart from an attractive appearance, clinker brick is not susceptible to dynamic and statistical loads, and heights will not appear on it. In addition, this material is one of the environmentally friendly, as it does not contain chemical rooms.
One of the most common shades of clinker brick is red, orange, brown and yellow. In home construction, clinker brick is used for facing facades, building basements, steps, floor, balcony, terraces and so on.
The disadvantages can only be attributed to thermal conductivity, which cannot be avoided due to the high density of the material.
