Parking is just just to carry out with your own hands if you know some secrets. For installation work, you will need: spacer wedges, saw or jigsaw, carpentry, mounting paw, roulette, knife, hammer, hand drill.
Preparation of the base
The parquet board is laid on the floating method on an even, dry and rigid base. There is another method of installation – on the adhesive composition. If laying is carried out using the first technology, the basis can serve as a tile floor, concrete base, an old wooden flooring, a coating of traffic jam, linoleum. Carpet or textile material should be removed.
The base should be even, the horizontal error should not be more than 3 mm / 2 m. If required, the surface is aligned with mixtures or plates. The floors from the boards are enhanced with nails, and unpleasant odors are removed by thorough washing. The humidity of the concrete base is measured using a special device or plastic film. A small segment of the coating is glued with tape to concrete and left for several days. If drops appeared on the film or the concrete floor darkened, then the humidity is high and the installation of the parquet cannot be done.
It is not recommended to mount a parquet on warm floors, since the likelihood of deformation and cracking of wood increases significantly. If it is decided to lay a natural coating on the heating system, the temperature should be thoroughly monitored, it should not exceed 27 degrees.
Preparatory work
A natural parquet board should be laid with optimal temperature and humid mode-at least +18 ° C and humidity 40-60 %. The material should be kept in a horizontal position in the place where styling will occur. The installation direction is determined by daylight. If the existing base is a plank floor, a new coating is mounted perpendicular. The first row is laid along the whole wall, its straightforwardness is checked using a cord.
The start of the installation
Between the walls and the floor, as well as doorways, pipes, columns, compensation clearances of 8-10 mm are left. Subsequently, they are disguised using skirting boards. Parquet boards are connected by the lock-paz lock. Before laying each subsequent row, you need to check the previous one to make sure that there is no sand and dirt in it. Control the distance between the transverse joints of individual elements: for neighboring stripes, this distance should not be less than 50 cm.
Stroke of pipes
At the location of the pipeline, drill a hole in the board. Its diameter is chosen more than that of the pipe by 20 mm. After cutting the segment, laying is carried out, and the edge of the hole is then decorated.
Installation of the last row and final work
The boards are cut to the required width, then installed using a mounting paw. The elements of the last row should be cut, taking into account the compensation clearance. After completion of work around the perimeter of the room, spacer wedges are removed. The next day, the installation of the skirting board is carried out, it is chosen at least 12 millimeters wide. The decor is mounted to the wall. If necessary, the gaps are decorated with putty, it is not allowed to use silicone putty.
If it is planned to carry out other finishing work, you should protect the laid floor from damage. Make sure that the room is well ventilated, there are no sharp changes in the temperature and moist regime.
